This is the famous demantoid garnet which used to decorate only the very wealthy. Gradually the Russian mines depleted more and more until they were only found in antique jewelry. However luckily more recently finds in Madagascar have brought the prices down to a more comfortable level. Their brilliance is amazing as it rivals the luster of diamonds. They were cut in Thailand, they dazzle! In this parcel are 2.5 mm rounds minimum 0.50ctw cut in the style of diamond cut faceting.
