Gem-Master 1.81 refractive index liquid (10gm). Produced solely for use in gemological refractometry, as an optical contact liquid. For use only by qualified gemologists, or students under supervision, in a suitably appointed laboratory or workplace. This liquid is used with gemstone refractometers as a contact medium for the identification of gemstones. It creates a film between the hemicylinder of the refractometer and the gemstone allowing for an accurate reading. The ensure the liquids maximum shelf life keep the container tightly sealed after opening, store it away from direct light and in moderate temperatures. This Item is Non-Refundable.
