Mariner Chains

A mariner chain is built from oval links each reinforced with a bar across the center, a construction taken directly from ships anchor chains. The bar within each link gives the mariner a more substantial and visually textured profile than a plain cable, making it one of the more distinctive standalone chain styles in fine jewelry.
