Cluster Jewelry

Cluster jewelry groups multiple stones together within a single setting, producing a combined surface area and light return that exceeds what a single stone of the same total weight would deliver. The approach maximizes visual impact per carat more effectively than any other configuration in fine jewelry.

Where do cluster rings come from?

Cluster rings had a bit of a rocky start, to say the least. Jewelry designers wanted to come up with a new ring design that would mimic the solitaire ring's style but would appeal more to younger couples.

The problem was that the designers struggled to set the clusters in a way that would allow light to absorb properly, which took away from the gemstones' brilliance. Eventually, designers figured out that if they placed a larger gem in the center with smaller uniform gemstones surrounding it, the stones could be set closer together - giving us the brilliant cluster ring look we recognize today! Eventually, designers took this concept and introduced it to pendants, rings, earrings, and bracelets for you to enjoy.
