A 1.55 carat square octagonal chrome diopside 18K yellow gold over sterling silver band ring measuring approximately 0.77 inches long by 0.17 inches wide - the chrome diopside band ring at a scale where the Siberian stone's extraordinary chromium-green makes a clear visual statement. At 1.55 carats square octagonal, the stone has enough presence to register as a genuine colored stone band. Chrome diopside's vivid green results from the same chromophore as emerald. Not sizeable.
